Edith Elizabeth Kehrt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Elizabeth Kehrt of Fairland, Indiana, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Elizabeth Kehrt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Haddix and Belle Haddix (Little); her stepson Eric Kehrt; and her brother Earnie "Gill" Haddix. She is survived by: her husband Phil Kehrt; her stepson Don Kehrt; her grandsons, Ryan Kehrt of Colorado, Tyler Kehrt of Plainfield and Jordan Kehrt; her sister-in-law Kathy Ambler of Fairland; her daughter-in-law Lisa Kehrt Adkins of Plainfield; and her brothers, Walter Raymond Haddix Jr. of Wyoming and Harold Haddix (Barbara) of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moral Township Community Center (8333 N Frontage Rd, Fairland, IN 46126). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
