He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Vorhies and Lottie Vorhies (Asbury); and his brother Buddy Vorhies. He is survived by: his wife Becky Vorhies (Pence); his sons, Christopher (Dana) and Alan (Carey); his granddaughters, Courtney Williams, Brooke Vorhies and Lexie Vorhies; and his siblings, Don Vorhies, Linda Tate and Vicki Lynch. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Murphy-Parks Funeral Service (703 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
