He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter May and Stella May (Terry); and his sister Loretta May. He is survived by: his wife Amelia Barbara "Molly" Fechter; his sons, Gary Raymond May (Beverly) of Shelbyville, Gregory Mearl May (Toni) of Shelbyville, Christopher Allen May (Kara) of New Palestine and Brian Clayton May (Missy) of Fairland; his sister Joyce Faye Fischer of Westport; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Chloe, Geoffrey, Ian, Porter, Charlie, Oliver, Lucy, Elly, Lily of Makenly, KJ, Kaitlin, Jess and John. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
