It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Symms (Fairmount, Indiana), born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond W. Dickerson and Dorothea Dickerson (Sutton); and her brother Dennis Dickerson. She is survived by: her husband Roger M. Symms; her daughters, Leah Frazer (Brett), Nikki Taylor (Mike) and Michelle "Telly" Juan (Ernie); her grandchildren, Noel Hearn (Justin), Sydney Frazier, Grant Taylor and EJ Juan; her great grandchildren, Nolan and Nash Hearn; her cousin Jane Ann Underwood; and her close friend Patty Chapman.
