As Becky departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Becky may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Becky leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jones and Edna Byers; her sisters, Betty Jo Peters (Raymond), Brenda Jones, Barbara Dilley and Beatrice "Beattie" Simpkins (William); and her brother-in-law Dick Maynard.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Wood, II (Shelli) and Wendi Gallogly (James Gooley); her siblings, Bunny Maynard, Beverly Markem and Edward "Butch" Jones (Judy); and her brother-in-law Russell Dilley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (321 S Broadway St, Gas City, IN 46933).
