With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carey L. Byrd (Fairmount, Indiana), born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard "Ricky" Byrd Jr.; her grandparents, Larry and Shirley Gobel; and her cousin Nicole Cothron. She is survived by: her parents, Douglas Dalton and Deborah Dalton (Goble); her fiancé Brad Thurman; her stepchildren, Jordan Byrd (Lexie), Richard Byrd (Maddie), Katelyn Byrd (Eli), Janna Swain (Jason), Jimmy Moore (Jennifer) and JJ Faulkner; her granddaughters, Piper Powell, Bristol Byrd, Brinleigh Hawn, Heavyn Moore and Ivy Swain; and her great-great-grandparent Sarah Dailey (Hillman).
