It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Underwood (Fairmount, Indiana), born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on May 4, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Coffel and Dorothy Coffel (Hamm); and her sister Phyllis. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin G. Underwood; her daughters, Rhonda Underwood of Huntertown, Titus, Knightstown, Gilman and Summitville; her grandchildren, Kyle Underwood (Brittany), Knightstown, Danielle Keough (Alan), Cody Hike, Oxford, Travis Titus (Emily), Carthage, Titus, Gilman, Spartanburg, Matthew Gilman (Kerri) and Alexandria; her great grandchildren, Bridgett, Hadley, Ava, Colt, Layton, Cameron and Callie; her siblings, Roger Coffel of Richmond, IN, Victor Coffel and Deborah Ponder of Richmond, IN; and her sister-in-law Helen Faunce of Gas City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kure-4-Kam Fund for research for Acute Intermittent Porphyria in care of the funeral home.
