He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Freeman and Lela Freeman (Arnold); his wife Mary K. "Kate" Davis; his son Randy Freeman; his siblings, Gary Freeman, Carmelitta Smith, Beauna Trosper (Garnet) and Patsy Hobbs; and his granddaughter Kathy Kuehner.
He is survived by: his children, Penny Benedict-Shaffer (Jeff) and Marc Freeman (Lisa); his sister-in-law Mildred Freeman; and his grandchildren, Shelby Rumple (Daniel), Caleb Freeman, Rebecca Moore (Doug), Julia Harter (Don) and Marisa Bohlander (Cody). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children or Fairmount Masonic Lodge in care of the funeral home.
