He is survived by: his wife Brenda Fones; his children, Lisa Komorous-McNiff (Robert), Julie Baldwin, Jennifer Haynes, Daniel Hayes (Stacey), Michael Hayes, Toyna Gardner (Thomas) and Ross Fones (Bethany); his sister Jane Gsell; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Bishop, Rayna Inviere, Victor Hayes, Lila Hayes, Taylor Thomas (Joel), Carli Fones, Adam Thurmand, Morgan Gardner and Austin Gardner; his nephew Bruce Thornton; and his niece Amanda Bessette.
