With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Ann Helfen of Fairmount, Indiana, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Suchy and Stella Suchy (Wilamosky); and her sister Antoinette M. Knecht. She is survived by: her son Robert Helfen (Heather Joy); her granddaughter Ava Grace of Chicago, Illinois; her sisters, Margaret Tobin (Dan) of Parma and Gloria Suchy of Willoughby, Ohio; her brother-in-law Richard J. Knecht of Sylvania, Ohio; her goddaughters, Heather Ann, Hannah Lout of Cedar Park and Cherie McIntosh of Renton, Washington; her close friend Philip "Spark" Mitchener of Fairmount, Indiana; James and Lucas Lout of Cedar Park, Texas. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Fairmount Public Library, 217 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928.
