She was predeceased by: her parents, Altus Stitt and Thelma Stitt (Retz); her significant other Charles Leonard Kimes; her daughter Kathleen Smith (Kimes); her son-in-law Steven Smith; her great grandchild Landon Dunham; and her siblings, Julia Lutz (Stitt) and Robert Stitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Small (Tim), Lori LaShure (Michael) and Lynell Coverdale (Dale); and her siblings, Harvey "Buddy" Stitt (Sandy) and Virginia Floyd (Larry). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
During the pandemic, she set out to use up her yarn by making afghans.
