He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Allison and Laura Allison; his nephew Roger E. Allison, Jr.; and his grandparents, James, Minnie Dennis, George and Jane Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sutton; his children, Brian Hartley (Tina Higginbotham), Lynn Davis (Ronald), Robin (Jason) and Tara Carpenter (Jason); his grandchildren, Brian James (Samantha), Jessica Hartley, Zoe Hartisch, Autumn, Ethan, Lauren Gardner, Chase and Kincade Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Emily Hartley, Kaylee Hartley-Gary, Keegan, Brookelynn Lloyd and Aubrey Hartley; his brother Roger Allison (Costa Rica); and his niece Penny Allison.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fairmount American Legion Post 313.
