The memory of Shelly D. Kane of Fairmount, Indiana, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 60, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Shelly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shelly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her friend Debbie Hart; and her grandmother Robertson. She is survived by: her parent Joyce Kane; her stepfather Jim Kane; her daughter Amber Kane (Austin Kern) of Marion; her grandchildren, James Russell (Tanner Henry) and Graycie Nicole Kern; and her close friend Staci Brechbiel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
