He is survived by: his wife Brenda Laurin (Boles); his daughters, Sue Barttrum and Teresa Barttrum-Patterson; his grandchildren, Taryn, Mason and Trey; his siblings, Ruth Shifflet of Portland, Tricia Frazier of Wayneboro, Sharon Muller of Zion Crossroads, Cathy Scott (Buddy) of Afton, Virginia, Charles (Jamie) of Punta Gorda, Skip of North Carolina, Tommy of Wayesboro and Michael (Cindy) of Winterville; his stepbrothers, Eric Tucker and David Rybolt of Charlottsville, Virginia; and his close friends, Mike Howlett, Steve Foster and Chad Plank.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
