He is survived by: his wife Betty Vonderheide; his children, Steve Waninger (Sharron) of Jasper, Randy Waninger (Sonya) of Ferdinand, Karen Hale (Doug) of Indianapolis and Sandy Buchta (Terry) of Jasper; his grandchildren, Justin Waninger, Jessica Goodwin, Rachel Hale, Lauren Buchta, Alyssa Englert, Amanda Schebler, Kasi Stermer and Ciera Niemeier; his siblings, Anna Mae Peters of Fulda, Agnes Witte of Huntingburg, Norman Waninger of Huntingburg and Bobby Waninger (Diane) of Lamar; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Waninger of Fulda and Hilda Waninger of Ferdinand.
