She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Harpenau and Frances Harpenau (Strobel); her husband Allen J. Werne; her son Jerry Lee Werne; her grandsons, Nathan and Deven Lueken; and her sisters, Marguerite Biever, Blanche Lavin and Betty Werne.
She is survived by: her children, Dan "Red" Werne of Ferdinand, Judy Olinger (Gene) of Mechanicsburg, PA., Mickie Paulin (Greg) of Ferdinand, Brenda Lueken (Ronnie) of Schnellville and Bev Atkins (Gordon) of St. Anthony; her grandchildren, Brian Olinger, Christopher Olinger, Angela Eshleman, Rodney Paulin, Travis Paulin, Matt Lueken, Traci Gilbert, Craig Atkins, Garrett Atkins and Mitch Atkins; and her siblings, Donald Harpenau of Chrisney and Jeannie Gill of Sullivan, IN..
