She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Peters and Edwina Peters (Lueken); her husband Irenus Olinger; her son Mark Olinger; and her siblings, Kenneth, Daniel Peters and Clara Mae Hagedorn.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Bickel (John) of Newburgh, Geralyn Gregory (John) of Newburgh and Terry Olinger (Susan) of McKinney, TX.; her grandchildren, Meghan Carroll, Allison Myers, Aaron Bickel, Audrey Bickel, Ryan Gregory, Chris Gregory, Angela Kohn and Lee Olinger; her daughter-in-law Arlene Olinger of Ferdinand; her siblings, Eugene Peters (Charlene) of St. Meinrad, David Peters of Fulda and Mary Rowlett (Allan) of Muncie; and her sisters-in-law, Pearline Peters of Ferdinand, Judy Peters of Newburgh and Janie Dilger of Mariah Hill. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Becher Funeral Home (625 Main St, Ferdinand, IN 47532). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ferdinand Church (625 Main St, Ferdinand, IN 47532).
