She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Helmer and Lillian Ann Helmer (Schenk); her sister Judith Rose Debes (Helmer); her brothers-in-law, Elmer A. Debes and Archibald C. Forman; her sister Mary Elizabeth Brenner (Helmer); her brother-in-law Norbert H. Brenner; and her brother John Antone Helmer. She is also survived by nephews and her religious family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM, from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Monastery Church. A Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Marian Parlor (802 E 10th St, Ferdinand, IN 47532). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand.
