He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Sr. Rickenbaugh; and his wife Charlene Mullis. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Rickenbaugh (Somerlotte); his children, Andrew Rickenbaugh of Ireland, Austin Rickenbaugh (Destiny) of Eckerty, Alex of Ferdinand, Avery Rickenbaugh of Ferdinand and Samantha Robinson (Nathan) of Eckerty; his pet Branch; and his siblings, Earl Rickenbaugh (Darla) of Birdseye, Adam Rickenbaugh of Birdseye, Jennifer Rickenbaugh of Scottsburg and Trish Haley (Bob) of French Lick. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
