He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schepers and Margaret Schepers (Buechler); and his brother Charles Schepers. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Schepers; his children, Gene Schepers (Diane) of Ferdinand, David "Weasel" Schepers (Joyce) of Ferdinand, Paul Schepers of Ferdinand, Mike Schepers (Rhee) of Lizton, IN., Julie Lane (Mark) of Evansville, Sister Doris Schepers of Ferdinand, Barb Jochim (Dave) of Santa Claus and Carol Tucker (Darin) of Spencer; and his grandchildren, Ashley Silkwood (Mike), Emily Weyer (Nolan), Matthew Lane (Emily), Rachel Lane, Eric Schepers (Lacey), Eryn Jochim and Alana Weyer (Alex). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church or Ferdinand American Legion Post 124.
