She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Schue and Catherine Schue (Katie Vaeth); her daughter Lea Gengelbach (Mike); her stepfather Albert Stratman; and her siblings, Sylvia Obermeier (Albert), Susan Reynolds (Edwin), Paulita Pund (Harold), John Schue (Barbara), Norman Schue (Leona) and Leo Schue (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Philip Ebert (Jennifer Gaesser) of Greenfield, IN and Andrea Hatfield (David) of Pittsboro, IN; her grandchildren, Drew, Lauren Hatfield, Caroline, Sebastian Ebert and Madelyn Mohr; and her stepgrandchildren, Kaden, Keira Gengelbach and Grace Mohr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to organizations close to Nellie's heart including the Sisters of Saint Benedict, Christ the King Parish or Ferdinand American Legion Auxiliary Post 124 .
