She was predeceased by: her parents, Ermin Friedman and Kathryn Friedman (Fuhs); her siblings, Marjorie "Margie" Bachman and Michael Friedman; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Kreilein, Louis Schipp, Joe Williams and Gerald "Jerry" Jerger.
She is survived by: her husband Francis Schipp; her children, James Schipp (Krista) of San Jose, CA, Mark Schipp of Louisville, KY and Tricia Borcherding (David) of Carmel, IN; her grandchildren, Owen, Noah Borcherding, Addison and Jason Schipp; her sisters, Camila "Camie" Ferguson (Robert) and Patty Bilinski (George); and her siblings-in-law, Alma Kreilein, Carol Schipp, Norma Jerger, Vernita Williams, Donna Friedman, Harold Schipp (Barbara) and Kenneth Bachman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Becher Funeral Home (625 Main St, Ferdinand, IN 47532). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church (341 E 10th St, Ferdinand, IN 47532).
For those wishing to make memorial contributions, the family suggests Christ the King parish or the Sisters of St. Benedict, both of Ferdinand.
