We bid farewell to Stephanie K. Taber of Ferdinand, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Stephanie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Ahrens and Kathleen Ahrens (Warthen); her husband Richard L. "Dick" Taber; her grandchildren, Eli and Isabelle Taber; her son-in-law Cecil Hill; and her siblings, Charlotte Sturdevant, Donna Williams, Pamela Bockting, Leona Mae Ahrens, Errol "Smokey", Kenneth "Zeke" and Ronald Ahrens.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Hill of Jasper, IN, Michele Fuhrman (Tadd) of Ferdinand, IN and Mike Taber (Stacy) of Velpen, IN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, or to a favorite charity.
