We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2022, at the age of 95, Sylvester Nord of Ferdinand, Indiana, born in Mariah Hill, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Loretta Nord, Emil Nord, Edna Roll, Velma Grundhoefer, Francis "Bencie" Nord, Jerome "Jim" Nord and Bernice Smith; and his daughter-in-law Darlene Nord.

He is survived by : his wife Alice; his children, Randy Nord (Brenda) of Louisville, Larry Nord of Jasper, Bruce Nord (Brenda) of Ferdinand, Cheryl Hasenour (Stan) of Bretzville and Vicki Seger (Pat) of Bretzville; his grandchildren, Joshua Nord, Andrea Smart, Jeremy Hasenour, Cara Morrow, Kristin Buechlein, Kaci White, Connor Seger, Zach Seger, Nicole Nord, Jade Nord, Travis Nord and Emily Nord; and his sister Vernita "Nita" Lueken of Ferdinand. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
