She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Meckel and Norma Meckel (Voges). She is survived by: her husband William Strahl; her children, Gary Strahl, Doug Strahl (Christine) and Rhonda Phillips (Jeff); her sisters, Clara Ann Skinner and Gloria Gass; and her grandchildren, Brittany Sauter (Thomas), William Wallace, Miranda Garvin (Brandon), Max Archer (Desiree) and Sophia Archer. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (4 Percy L Julian Dr, Greencastle, IN 46135). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
