She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. Fields and Ella Mae Fields (Gambill); her husband Jimmy Despain; and her siblings, Junior, Charlene, Boyce, Eugene and Max.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan "Keith" Despain (Tonya) and Vicki Moran (Jim); her grandchildren, Jamie Despain (Erica), Brendon Despain (Josh), Michael Moran (Meagan) and Scott Moran (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Hadley, Sadie, Jillian, Lincoln, Clare, Teddy, Reagan, Kennedy and Jimmy.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Janice's honor to Northside Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN.
