He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sr. Kern and Stella Kern. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Marie and James (James); his grandchildren, Colton and Hollis; and his siblings, Jerry and Janis.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
