He was predeceased by: his parents, Bir Singh and Bant Kaur. He is survived by: his significant other Nachittar Kaur; his brothers, Gurdial Singh and Sukhchian Singh; and his children, Jagtar Singh (Francis), Parminder Hira (Sital Singh), Sukhjinder Kaur (Ramesh Lal), Daljit Singh (Mandeep Kaur), Harnek Singh (Kuldeep Kaur) and Kamaljit Kaur (Dharampal Singh). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
