With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas E. Gruber of Fishers, Indiana, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gruber and Frances Gruber (Lunsford); his sister-in-law Mary Gruber; and his nephew Jeff Gruber. He is survived by: his wife Janie Gruber; his children, Scott Gruber (Nora) and Jodi Phillips (Brad); his grandchildren, Nate Gruber and Seth Gruber; his stepgrandchildren, Maija, Quinn and Laine Phillips; his stepgreat-grandchild Kehton Phillips; and his siblings, Sam "Sonny" Gruber, Brenda Hawkey (Jim) and Joyce Ramby (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
