He was predeceased by: his parents, George Myron and Josephine Gray (Kyser); and his brothers-in-law, William Maynard and James Colvin. He is survived by: his children, Richard Scott Gray and Amy Denise Gray; his wife Fran Gray (Lafferty); his granddaughter Layla Barham Ranya Barham (Adham Zeyadah); his sisters, Patricia Colvin and Margaret Maynard; and his sister-in-law Catherine Simmerman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
