He was predeceased by: his father John Steele Weikel, Sr.; and his brother-in-law David Weimer. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Christine Long (Darrin), Cobi Ingram and Daniel Hignight (Tricia); his grandchildren, Ali Henry (Jimmy), Megan Hignight, Hannah Long, Jackson Long, Hailey and Lauren Ingram; and his sister Beverly Weimer. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
