It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joni Lynn Germain of Fishers, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Keith Schaefer; and her sister Lisa Schaefer. She is survived by : her husband Michael; her children, Sarah Catt (Codey) and Adam Germain; and her siblings, Jeff Schaefer (Shelby), Shannon Higgs (Mike), Stacey Phillips (Wendell), Amanda Ezernack (Joe) and Jennifer Schaefer. She is also survived by her friends and family.

“Mike, Sarah and Adam, I am heartbroken. Joni was a dear friend; we shared so many conversations over the years, especially about our families - our joys, and worries and losses. We comforted each other when our parents died, and we rejoiced when our children were married. Joni was a kind and caring woman, who loved her family deeply. Her faith was strong, and I know she is in a better place. I'm sorry for the suffering she (and all of you) have endured. God bless you.”
