He is survived by: his wife Judith Hartley (Putnam); his daughters, Kelly Kendall (Hartley) of Indianapolis and Bonney Hartley of Williamstown, Massachusetts; his grandson Norbu Hartley of Williamstown; and his sister Martha Zunker (Hartley) of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
