He was predeceased by: his parents, John Savin and Geraldine Savin (Lenz); and his brothers, Mark, Bruce and Jeff Savin.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Savin; his children, Gweny Sanders (Payton), Alex Savin and Max Savin; his sister Cheryl Burr; and his siblings-in-law, Dora Savin, Patrick O'Donnell (Anita), Rob O'Donnell (Penni) and Susan Mahanna (John).
