He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Eileen Brugler and Bert Brugler; and his grandparents, Herman, Blanche Siegenthaler, Delmer Brugler and Myrtle Rumor.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCaulley; his daughter Laura; and his son-in-law Ian Ndabari.
