We announce the death of Robert Allen Slomka in Fishers, Indiana, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 89. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slomka and Marie Slomka; his sister Barbara; and his grandchildren, Jordan and Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Judith; his sister Janet; his children, Laurie (John), Beth, Judy (Brad) and Rob; his grandchildren, Kyle, Jamie, Jessy, Max, Bailey, Riley, Andie, Halle, Casey and AJ; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Greyson, Elliot, Oliver and Josie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (4100 E 56th St, Indianapolis, IN 46220).
