He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kenneth and Mary Elizabeth Cowan; and his brother Terry Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his children, William Roy Cowan (Rebecca) and Katie Sickmeier (Jeff); his grandsons, Ian and Wesley Sickmeier; his sisters, Linda Cowan and Marian Wallace (Jim); his sister-in-law Nancy Cowan; and his goddaughter Jessica Wallace. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heartland Church (14900 E 126th St, Fishers, IN 46037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
