He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard G. Schmidt and Mary Lucinda Schmidt (Oblinger); and his sister Cindy Lu Prater. He is survived by: his wife Eve Schmidt (Burton); and his daughter Mimi Stauffer (Mitch). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Restoration Church (1550 W. 600 N., Whiteland, IN 46184).
