He was predeceased by: his parents, Orman Zinn and Madge Zinn (Black); his brother Ralph Zinn; and his son Phillip Zinn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Zinn; his daughters, Teresa Fife (Tony), Diane Dzirbik (Dave), Jennifer Spesard (Lonnie) and Susana Gastelu Medina of Bolivia; his grandchild Taylor Fife (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Brynna, Aiden and Cora; his grandson Dane Fife (April); his great grandchildren, Molly, Eli, Madison, Whitney Truax (Eric), Ryen, Maverick, Canon, Amanda Angrick (Justin), LuAnn, Ty, Adrian and Alex; his grandsons, Luke Dzirbik (Sarah) and Bryce Dzirbik (Thelma); his great grandchildren, Cayden and Wyatt; his grandchildren, Emily Dzirbik and Carson Spesard (Kaitlin); his great grandchildren, Arlo and William; his grandson Aaron Spesard (Caitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan Spesard (Karli), Wade, Kerrigan, Dylan Spesard (Gracie) and Owen. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dale's memory to Bringhurst Community Church or the Carroll County Community Foundation.
