He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garfield and Vivian Rose Zook (Chadwick); his wife Jennifer Catherine Post; and his siblings, Doug Henderson, James Zook II, Keith Zook, Kathaleen Meiers and David Zook.
He is survived by: his children, Robert James Dean (BJ) of Flora, Lauren Rene Celeste of Frankfort, Sheila Marie Post of Kokomo, Jason Timothy Tate (Theresa) of Kentucky and Darci Aria Barr of Noblesville; his siblings, LeRoy Zook (Carolyn) of Frankfort, Don Henderson of California, Stephen Zook of Frankfort and Candace Cheek (Fred) of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Patciance, Serenity, Sophia, Kaleb, Je'Ray, Alieca, Kierstin, Amya, Alexeya, Aleeah, Christian, Jason Jr., Megan and Brendon; and his great grandchildren, Adrian, Isaiah, Mateo, LeVaya, RayLynn, Alyla, Jalaya, Jaziya, Jazir, Carter, Haisley, Luka and Lilia.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Green Lawn Chapel of Peace Mausoleum (496 W Co Rd 200 S, Frankfort, IN 46041).
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Native American Rights Fund.
