He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dye and Alice Dye Sturgeon (Roney); and his sister Pamela Jeanette Maples. He is survived by: his wife Donita Mae Armstrong (Armstrong) of Florence, IN; his children, Shawn Smith of Thailand, Autumn Dye of Hamilton, OH, Pamela Hopper (Michael) of Florence, IN, Alisha Dye of Florence, IN and Cadence Smith of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Harley, Landon, Elijah, Serenity, Jordan and Atreyu; and his siblings, Dolores "Dian" Batson of Shepherdsville, KY and Robert Sturgeon (Dee) of Madison, IN. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
