He is survived by: his children, Cindy Griggs (Mike) of Livingston, LA, Dennis Courter (Roberta "Iles") of Alexandria, KY and Anthony Courter (Stefani) of Rising Sun, IN; his grandchildren, Tonja Humphrey (Michael), Jason Griggs (Sarah), Rodney Griggs (Adria), Jessica Courter Brown (Roger), Jeffrey Courter (Ezra Langford), Thomas Courter, Andrew Courter (Sarah), Steven Courter (Kelsey Hillman) and Tifani Courter; his great grandchildren, John, Michaela, Alan Buettner, Michael, Nathanael, Joseph, Gabriel Griggs, Abigail, Adam, Aidan, Amelia, Axel Griggs and Lee Brown; his grandchildren, Asayah and Asriel Buettner; his sisters, Linda Elam of Lawrenceburg, IN, Loretta Mounce of Greendale, IN, Erma Rae Conner of Vevay, IN and Eva Christine Stewart of Trenton, OH; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Kittle of Rising Sun, IN..
