He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. McCune Sr. and Lois McCune (Luther); his wife Lorraine McCune (Nantz); his son Dan F. McCune; and his pet Buddy.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Brenda Hartman; his son John "Jack" McCune; his daughter-in-law Dorene McCune; his sister-in-law Phyllis Nantz; his grandchildren, Kelsey Hoglund and Eric Hoglund (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Harper and Wells Hoglund.
