He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Smith Sr. and Sylvia Benson Smith; his siblings, Arthur Smith, Larry Smith, Kenneth Smith, Joyce Kaufer and Janice Durham; and his stepdaughter Cindy.
He is survived by: his wife Princess A. Smith; and his stepson Jeff. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
