With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shannon Scott Shaffer of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, whose life came to an end on June 6, 2025 at the age of 56, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Shaffer and Sally Shaffer (Landreth); and his brothers, Robbie and Shane Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Dana Shaffer (Young); his children, Emily Culver (Dylan), Sarah McReynolds (Tanner), Scott Shaffer and Seth Shaffer (Kaitlynn); his grandchildren, Zion, Reina and Wynne; his sister Bobbie Jo Jackson; his mother-in-law Gay Young; and his siblings-in-law, Rolanda Boggs (Greg), Kevin Young and Darrin Young (Stephanie). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charlestown Road Church of Christ (4601 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
