With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Sholtey Sr. of Foraker, Indiana, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sholtey and Ruth Sholtey (Hoover); and his nieces, Deborah Ivison and Rebecca Sholtey. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sholtey of Foraker; his children, Jim Sholtey Jr. of Foraker, Loretta Sholtey of Foraker and Lydia Sholtey of Goshen; his stepson Tom Ecklebarger (Ann) of New Braunfels, TX; his siblings, Wayne Sholtey (Marcia) and Faye Ivison (Russell) of Coventry; his nieces, Mary Sholtey of Syracuse, IN and Hannah Ivison of London, England; and his nephew David Ivison (Shawna) of Springfield, MO..

Memorial Contributions in Jim's name can be given to help the family with funeral expenses.
