He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hollander and Mary Hollander (Whipking); his wife Chloetta Hollander; his stepfather Joseph Schulteis; and his siblings, Anthony "Tony" Hollander and Hettie Wolfe.

He is survived by: his children, Teelia Pancake (David) and Randy Hollander (Lori); his grandchildren, Mitch Pancake, Melina Wellmeyer (Luke), Jordan Hollander (Sarah) and Baylee Hollander; and his siblings, Tom Schulteis (Sue), Jerry Schulteis (Betty), Joseph "Bud" Schulteis, Joyce Holland (Grandville), Lois Schnarr (Joe), Carolyn Allen (Lonnie) and Mary Harder. He is also survived by five great grand-children.
