He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dearing and Macy Dearing (Mead); and his siblings, Marilyn Wallace (Kenneth 'Pete') and Wayne Dearing of Owensville Lumber. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Dearing (Riddle); his daughter Beverly Goedde (Ken); his brother Donnie Dearing (Clara); his sister-in-law Marilyn Dearing; his grandchildren, Evan Goedde (Natasha) and Alyssa Lasher (Brett); and his great grandchildren, Draven, Livia, Macy, Theodore and Cora Ruth. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to American Legion Post 51 for the Retired Military Honor Guard.
