He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hartman and Catherine Hartman (Rorick); his wife Charlene Hartman (Nash); his friend Charlene; his siblings, Lynn Hartman, Gerald Hartman and Judith Amburgey; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Matthew Landstoffer and Nora Anne Hartman.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hartman (Teresa), Christopher Hartman (Molly), Cheryl Fisher (Michael), Keith Hartman (Kimberlyn) and Coleen Houlihan (Matthew); and his siblings, MaDonna Roy and F. P.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
