He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Clemens and Mary Clemens; his former wife Marilyn Joyce Clemens; and his wife Fern E. Clemens. He is survived by: his children, Larry Clemens (Brenda), Sue Kelty, Doug Clemens (Kathy), Robin Clemens and Ron Clemens (Beth); and his stepsons, Loren Fry (Aimee), Robert Fry (Vicky), Dennis Fry (Melody) and Randall Fry (Anita). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Easter Seals ARC Northeast Indiana.
